SILVIA ZSCHOCKELT BIOGRAPHY

After years of working as a designer in fashion and carpet-design, then later as an art-teacher, I have been working as a freelance artist for ten years. During my career I have participated in numerous group exhibitions, as well my work having been shown in solo exhibitions, and twice I was nominated and selected for juried exhibitions.

My collages are created in an ongoing creative process. I collect motifs from print media which creates an impulse in me and I print them in a new context on the canvas. Which I then finish with acrylic colors.
